My hero academyThe recent war between heroes and villains has taken some pretty big casualties so far, but the latest chapter of the series has revealed how Izuku Midoriya reacted to discovering the death of the big hero now that he’s on the scene! The heroes would spend the last few seasons of the series trying their best to hold out Tomura Shigaraki so that Izuku could get there to fight him, and this resulted in some huge losses in the heat of battle in that short time.
There was little hope that things would improve quickly, however, after several minutes of battle, Izuku was finally able to make his way to the UA floating academy battlefield where the previous chapter of the series ended. But as fans have seen through the heroes’ fight against the villain thus far, it’s too late to prevent much of the massive damage already dealt. As Izuku reviews the scene in the new chapter, finding out about that very death, his emotional reaction is definitely heartbreaking.

Chapter 367 of My hero academy He captures shortly after Izuku arrives on the battlefield and deals his first major blow to Shigaraki in the process. Buying himself and the other heroes a short reprieve from the Shigaraki attack, it is here that Izuku finds out exactly what happened. Wanting to know if everyone is okay, Izuku not only sees Katsuki Bakugo’s body lying on the ground while Best Jeanist tries his best to help, but also sees the extent of the injuries sustained by the Big Three members and Mirko.
This sends him into an instant vortex, and with some prodding from All For One within Shigaraki, he activates the berserk Dark Deku form seen during the height of the supernatural Liberation Front’s war. Crying over the fact that it’s too late to help, Mirio can talk to him about this short period of pain as they both realize that they first need to take down the Shigaraki before anyone can proceed to safety.
